relais navona71 exceeded my expectations! the room was beautiful with a comfortable bed and amazing view. giovanni was so helpful and even carried our luggage. the location was perfect, right on piazza navona. we felt safe and loved the convenience of walking to historical sites. the windows kept the sound out at night for a good sleep.
Window view and ventilation.

The location and that it was calm.
They were doing construction work on the building so the window was was blocked by canvas. We could not see out of the window.

Loved the bus rides around the city, so convenient! The relaxing atmosphere with white walls and natural wood made me feel like I was in a spa. And the Italian breakfast at the nearby café was a sweet treat!
The best part was when I left. Bye-bye!

Relais Navona 71 is a great little B&B in one of the BEST tourist . locations in Rome. It's situated right ON Piazza Navona, so the second you go out the door, you are in the "heart" of the action :) The rooms are very tastefully designed - very clean, modern, aesthetic design. The bed was very confortable, the linen were clean and beautiful; the shower was great and the whole place is very very clean and feels highly maintained! Giovanni, the owner is extremely nice and speaks great English.I would definitely recommned this place to my friends.
The disadvatages of the B&B: during my stay (end of July 2011) the exterior front and roof of the building was renovated, so all the windows overlooking the Piazza are closed, and hidden by the scaffolding, so there is no view to the piazza and the rooms are a bit dark. There was no noise whatsoever, only the obsturcion to the view, but I didn't mind it that much, as I was mostly looking for a clean, enjoyable place in a great location, and it's all that and more! Also, the entrance to the building is renovated as well, and you have to walk 1 flight of stairs to the B&B, so for older people/ with a lot of luggage, it's not so confortable. and lastly - the breakfast given in the cafe under the place is very basic (coffee, OJ, croissant, bread, butter & jam).

The rooms were updated and very clean. Having traveled extensively in Europe, the shower was great!! People were pleasant, coffee and tea free all day. And the location was great, right in the middle of Piazza Navona, which is minutes walk from everywhere you want to go in Rome.
They are doing some construction at the moment, which closed off all the views of the piazza, at the moment. This is temporary and did not hamper our stay or make it loud at all.

Location was perfect for visiting Rome, close to many sights, on the door step to cafes and restaurants, and surprising quiet despite proximity to square
Front entrance still under renovation, but once inside the hotel, all was well.

What a great little hotel! Stylish, new rooms with good showers (you know that's a rarity in Italy). Unbeatable service: the location is obviously great but what made our stay memorable was the personal service provided by Raffaella and the whole staff. A strong recommendation!

We had a fantastic stay at Relais Navona71. the room with a Piazza Navona view was absolutely breathtaking. Opening the window and hearing the fountains and the bells from the nearby church was a true delight. the special windows blocked the outside noise, creating a peaceful atmosphere. Giovanni, the owner, was extremely kind and responsive, making our experience even better. the room size and bathroom were great for a couple, and the breakfast at the nearby restaurant was delicious. the location was perfect, right on the Piazza Navona, allowing us to enjoy the artists and the vibrant atmosphere.
Nothing to be said.

This isn't really a hotel but it has 6 rooms en suite with fridge, tv,free local phone calls and free safe box in the room. Coffee and tea are available in reception 24 hrs. You have your own keys for access to main front and inner doors and breakfast is taken in one of the cafe/restaurants in the Piazza just outside. Giovanne who met us on arrival very helpful in advice and helping in booking tours. Everything is very clean and modern - our room was black & red with free air conditioning. An ideal position very easy to access on bus 64 or 40 from the main rail terminus and to a stop for the yellow jump on/off tour bus.
If it was wet there was no where else to sit and relax except in your room but as we went for sightseeing this didn't matter as we were always out.

The room was lovely and had been recently redecorated. The location fantastic for exploring Rome, very central to all of the sights. The staff were also really helpful and friendly during our stay. Overall we had a fantastic time and would recommend this hotel to our friends and family. Needless to say if we return to Rome we will also stay again. There are works currently being carried out on the roof of the building so there is scaffolding on the front of the building but this in no way effected our stay. The breakfast was served in the restaurant below and was croissants and toast with drinks.
There was no choice of breakfast.
